First, the main production process of solid potassium salt ore


The production process of solid potassium salt ore is mainly divided into cold decomposition-flotation process and cold decomposition-hot melt crystallization process.




(1) cold decomposition-flotation process


This process is mainly suitable for solid ore with potash salt as raw material, and its main production steps are: firstly, adding water to dissolve it to decompose it, and then using flotation method to obtain potassium chloride, and its process is shown in Figure 1.

(2) Cold decomposition-hot melt crystallization process


According to the principle that the solubility of each component in carnallite mixed solution varies with temperature, the target product potassium chloride is obtained by separating each component. Its technological process is mainly as follows: carnallite is decomposed with water, then filtered, and then the filtered filtrate is cooled and dried to obtain potassium chloride.




The potassium chloride product obtained by the cold decomposition-hot solution crystallization method has large and uniform particle size, good physical properties and high product purity, which can reach more than 90% or even more than 98%. The potassium recovery rate of this method is high, and it is particularly effective for treating potash salt solid ore containing high sediment, with less equipment investment, but high energy consumption, high cost, serious equipment corrosion and complex process operation, which is generally suitable for popularization and use in areas with low energy.
